- When is the best time to book our wedding photographer?
As soon as possible! The more popular the wedding photographer of your choice is, the earlier in advance his weekends will be booked out. Generally spoken this point in wedding preparation schedule should be checked off at least half a year before your wedding. It actually has become quite common that we are booked a year or more in advance.
- Do you work only in Germany?
Nope! We have most of our clients in the northern part of Germany. But of course we also work internationally.
- We want to book you – how do we do that?
Call us or write a mail – and we will be pleased to make a personalised non-binding offer regarding your wishes for your wedding reportage. We can arrange a personal information meeting – and when you will decide to book us we will set up a contract. With the signing of the contract 30 % of the appointed fee is due as a booking deposit and as soon as this money is recorded the booking is binding.
A creative photo-corner for the evening wedding party – an extra camera on tripod with remote control and studio flashes. Your guests can take funny photographs of themselves with all kinds of funny outfits - your own creativity is the limit. The photo booth became a very popular extra on weddings last year. By the way the basic version - without instant prints - is included in all packages longer then 8 hours.
Working as a wedding photographer is a very responsibly job! All important moments of this special day happen only once and are not repeatable. My experience with weddings in recent years have shown me how much better the photos could be, if these moments are captured from two different angles. As an individual photographer you have to always choose the "safe"perspective, but from the photographer's perspective is not necessarily the best.
And this applies not only to the documentary section at weddings - especially for the couple photos a second shooter / assistant photo is essential. If your photographer must carry all necessary equipment on the body itself (2 to 3 cameras - photo case with multiple lenses), this means a significant restriction on his freedom of movement. Apart from the fact that the use of additional light (reflectors and whitening agents and / or light) without a wizard at all feasible. This is particularly important photos, which are usually made under pressure of time in public facilities require a very high mobility and thus compelling the use of a 2 photographers.
What will ultimately remain of your wedding day are our photos ... and your memories come alive through our pictures again and again. These photos will accompany you and your family a lifetime, so it's our claim to give you our work with only the best quality. Exactly why we offer photographic support of weddings with 2 photographers in the packet.- When is the best time for the couple shoot?
Mostly the question is: Should we have the couple shoot before or after the wedding ceremony? We always answer: It would be the best to have it in separate day.
There are many advantages in favour of this choice. Main are as follows:
- There is a bigger choice in possible locations for the couple shoot
- You will not have to leave your wedding guests alone for at least 1,5 hour
- There is a more relax athmosphere which makes you look a lot better on the photos
- There is no time pressure and you can really have fun and enjoy a professional photo session
- You don't have to worry about your wedding outfit (exept for `''trash the dress'' session – which we by the way highy recomeding :) )
If it is not possible to have the couple shoot on a separate day, we recommended to do it after the church ceremony. You will be a lot more relax when this important moment is already behind you.
- What do we have to do to get beautiful reportage photos?
First of all - book us! :)
Generally it is about ignoring us :) Dont pay attention on us and just let us do our work. We will act in the background and take vivid and natural portraits of you and your guests. Reportage photos capture what really happened, without the photographer taking influence on the scenery – and we are good in this!
- Why do we need a contract and when do we have to pay?
A contract or at least a written order description will avoid misunderstandings - for you as well as for us. All details and services we have worked out in the pre-meeting will be specified in the contract. With the signing of the contract 30 % of the set honorarium are due as a reservation fee. As soon as this money is on our account the booking is binding. The 70% rest of payment is due with the delivery of your photos.
- How many photos we will get?
Of course it depends on which packet you choose. At a 4 hours job we usualy deliver 250 -350 photos. On a full day wedding reportage you will get between 500 and 700 photos.
- Apart from reportage will you also make the „official“ wedding portraits?
Within the booked time range we will of course do almost anything. Tell us about your personal wishes for special motifs and we will do our best to realise it. Of course we also make all the group photos you would like to have.
- What about copyrights and watermarks – e.g. what do we get in the end?
In all packages the delivery of all photos on DVD-ROM in high resolution and free of any kind of watermark is included. Additionally we provide all photos in a downsized screensize version on your DVD. Including the rights for private use for an unlimited time.
Also you will get a high quality digital photobook with pages made from real photo prints – in a DIN A 4 format with 26 pages – this is included in all packages. Of course we also offer hi-class coffee table albums in several different sizes and qualities – we will be pleased to show our sample books to you.
- How do we get our photo prints?
With the high resolution digital photo files principly you can order your photo prints at any print station. But we recommend not to go to the cheapest lab actually, but use some professional service. We do recommend the print service of the german fotocommunity – you can place your order easily online, there is big choice of different formats and paper surfaces and the price-quality-ratio is very good:
